Practice Change for Friday 6/27- Practice will be held on Saturday 6/28 instead of Friday this week. I apologize for any inconvenience. Times are as follows

• 6 and unders 9:30-10
• 7 and Up: 10-11

There will only be practice Monday, Tuesday AM and Wednesday next week due to the July 4th Holiday.

Munchin Marlins Monday 6/30

Munchin Marlins next week is 4th of July Cookout! Think hot dogs, meatballs, chips, veggie tray, fruit, baked beans, pasta salad, dessert. Signups will be updated tonight.

It is vital that you RSVP ASAP for proper planning, especially since it will be a holiday week. Thank you to Brandi Norman for hosting!

Meet Tuesday 7/1 at Meredith Towns:

PLEASE DECLARE YOUR SWIMMERS AND SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE- since it is a holiday week we need to know what kind of numbers we are dealing with as soon as possible. 

Like last week you will need to arrive at Meredith Townes so that your swimmers are ready to stretch on the pool deck by 5:15, our pool warmup time is 5:30-6. Meet starts at 6 P. More details with specifics for an away meet will be sent closer to Tuesday.

Volunteers needed for 7/1 Meet

Open positions are:

• Clerk of Course
• 7-8 Girls kid pusher
• 9-10 All Pusher
• Timers- think we need 6 (have none right now)
• Order of Finish Judge

**** Thank you to Alej Keigan for taking the time to complete the Stroke and Turn Certification last week so that she could step in for Matt. You were a lifesaver!

Registration Fees:

Thank you to those who have paid. If you have not, please drop off payment at practice or place in my folder in the ribbon box.

Ribbons from last week:

All ribbons are in the ribbon box in the kitchen. They were just dropped off today so I apologize for the delay/

Saving Grace Fundraiser:

Reminder that we will be collecting items to donate to Saving Grace Animals for Adoption. Collection will take place during our Awards Ceremony, or another time that you rearrange with me. Full details to come next week, just wanted to make you aware we were planning it.

End of Season Awards Banquet:

Will be held at the pool Wednesday 7/16 (or Thursday 7/17 if there is any postponement of 7/16 meet.) It will be a Potluck with cake provided. Bring your own drinks. Will start at 6 with dinner then awards. If you have any pictures from the season please forward to me. If someone would like to help me by ordering and picking up with team cake please let me know.

Lessons:

Coaches Sam, Jessie and Andrew are available for swim lessons. If you are interested, or know anyone who is, please contact Coach Sam at 919-455-4975. She will assign a coach to the lesson based on swimmer skill level and scheduling availability. Evenings after practice or weekends are the nest time but we can work around your schedule. Cost for members is $20 for individual 30 minute lesson and $30 for group 30 minute lesson. If you have any questions you can also contact me at 919-345-9359.

I will be sending out a full recap with this weekend's update- I don't have the results sheet in front of me at the moment. I do know this....

Triple Winners: Camden Sant'Agata was our sole triple winner- go Camden!!!
