The Marlins Swim Team is run by Volunteers

The Manchester Marlins would not be able to operate as a swim team without a wide variety of volunteers.

Each family is required to volunteer at 3 out of 6 swim meets, at a minimum.  It is highly encouraged that each family participate in as many volunteer opportunities as possible in order to make the swim season as successful as possible.

The following is a list of positions required to run the team: 

Team Manager- dedicated person who can act as the overall Program Manager- coordinating all Chairs and holding responsibility for all swim team physical items (extra caps, volunteer vests, ribbons, meet paperwork,etc.) Would also handle team communication.

  • Fundraising/Sponsors- Kristen Ivory and need another
  • Munchin Marlins
  • Membership/Social Activities
  • Website- Jackie Miller 

TSA Rep- Jackie Miller, Dale Miller (backup)

Stroke and Turn Judge- Matt Cook, need backup

Swimmingly Administrator- Kelly Onesti, need backup

Meet Administrator- Jackie Miller, Dale Miller (Backup)

We realize that your time is valuable but please consider volunteering for one of the vacant positions.  You may even volunteer for more than one!  Or share it with another swim parent! We are fortunate enough to have many experienced volunteer parents on our team who are always willing to assist in training for these positions.  It is a great opportunity to be more involved, to add new ideas/improvements and to support our swimmers in a fun, exciting swim season.  We are only as good as our Volunteers and we have had some of the best!
