Thank you so much to everyone who attended our intrasquad meet this past Tuesday- cannot believe we only have 2 meets left and 1 1/2 weeks until the season is over!

Swim Team Dues:

Thank you to all who have paid for 2024. If you have not paid please either leave a check in my folder in the pool kitchen (in the box where you collect your ribbons) or contact me to set up an alternative payment like venmo.

Munchin Marlins Monday 7/8

Our next Munchin Marlins this coming Monday 7/8 does not have a lead so I will handle it- simple breakfast for dinner (pancakes, bacon, sausage, bananas and oranges, mini muffins- plus dessert) Please RSVP. Cost is $3 per swimmer, venmo me @Jackie-Miller-160. There is a signup for dessert, but please feel free to bring anything else that you may want to add to the dinner.

Meet Tuesday 7/9 away at Lakepark:

Please declare your swimmers ASAP so that we can finalize the lineup on Sunday night. Specific details about meet logistics will be sent out on Monday. You will need to arrive so that your swimmers are ready to stretch on the pool deck by 5:15.

Volunteers needed for 7/9 Meet

Many volunteer positions are still open. I would encourage those who volunteer for the same jobs each week to try something new. I realize that those with toddlers are not able (or expected) to volunteer for some of the more time consuming positions, but it will benefit the team as a whole to have volunteers skilled in more than one position. 

Open positions are:

• Clerk of Course
• Timers- need (6)- 2 per lane
• Order of Finish Judge
• 6 and Under Girls Kid Pusher

Practice Schedule:

I will be combining Thursday practice as again no one showed up for the last 4-5 PM session.  

Please note:  Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday will all be normal practice schedule. Thursday will be 5-5:30 for 6 and Unders and 5:30-6:30 for everyone else.

Ribbons from last week:

Sorry for the delay in distributing ribbons from Springdale meet- they will be in folders tomorrow night. 

Team Picture:

Team picture will be taken at last Munchin Marlins on Monday 7/15. Please wear Marlins shirts. Pic will be taken at 5:15. 

End of Season Awards Banquet:

Will be held at the pool Wednesday 7/17 (or Thursday 7/18 if there is any postponement of 7/16 meet.) It will be a Potluck with cake provided. Bring your own drinks. Will start at 6 with dinner then awards. If you have any pictures from the season please forward to me. 

Summary of actions needed:

• By Sunday night: Declare your swimmers for 7/9 meet, RSVP for Munchin Marlins, donate food items for Munchin Marlins if able/willing
• By Tuesday AM: Volunteer for any outstanding 7/9 meet jobs
