Hi,

The season is going by so fast; we are already at Time Trials! There are some important sign ups listed below that you should begin filling out. Please let me know if you have any questions about completing these tasks.

Time Trials tomorrow June 4: will be held during each practice session. The kids will stretch and then kick before getting timed. I will time for each session so we just need 3 more volunteers for each group. Signup has been opened on the team website Signup Calendar - Manchester (swimtopia.com) Reminder- we are going back to stopwatches this year as no one else in our League used our timing system.

First Munchin Marlins next Monday 6/10- more info to come later this week. Thank you to Kristin Ivory for leading the first dinner this year. We will need more lead volunteers for the remaining 5 weeks. If you are interested in leading a dinner you can sign yourself up under the Jobs for your desired week. If you have any questions about what is involved please do not hesitate to reach out to me. 

First Meet Tuesday 6/11-

• Please declare your swimmers. If they are not declared as attending this meet they cannot be added to the lineup. The deadline to declare for any meet is at noon on Sunday before each meet. Coaches are required by the TSA league to submit lineups on Sunday night so this deadline is vital.
• Please start signing up for volunteer positions. Our website has descriptions of each role for those who are new to the team. If you have any questions about a role please reach out to me.
• Concession donation sign up: Thank you to Connie Garkalns for once again stepping up to handle this role. We will finalize the donation list this week and will have sign ups ready by the end of the week.

The entire schedule has been updated on our website and all swimmer declaration, RSVP's, donation and volunteer signups are all open.

Starter for home meets- We need someone to step into this role this year- we CANNOT hold a home meet without this vital function. Please, if you are interested reach out to me, even if it is just to ask questions about responsibilities.

Practice changes- starting next Monday we will move practice to the summer schedule- morning practices Tuesday and Friday (game day.)

Swim Suits and Caps- Swim suits ordered through last Wednesday have been picked up and for the most part distributed. If you order a suit going forward please let me know so we are aware that there are suits to pick up. Caps will be distributed at the first meet. If you need one for time trials tomorrow I will have some non-Marlins extra ones.

SUMMARY OF PARENT TO DO ITEMS:

• Today- sign up if you can for timing tomorrow at time trials. Also need a Starter.
• Later this week- concession donation list available if you are able and willing to donate items to sell at our home meets.
• By Sunday 6/9 at noon- Declare your swimmer for 6/11 meet, Job sign up for 6/11 meet, Munchin Marlins 6/10 RSVP and item sign up, signups for rest of season for those who want to get ahead 😊
